Let Reformed Jehovah’s Witnesses Worship

By Christian Peper

The extremist “Official” Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower organization claims to stand for religious freedom yet prevents a true minority faith, members of the REFORMED Jehovah’s Witnesses, from worshiping.

There is a common misperception that the Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower organization is somehow responsible for helping to spread religious freedom.  This is simply not the case.  In 2004, I (Christian Peper) lived with a Jehovah’s Witness member in Arizona who controlled and manipulated me.  After this traumatic living situation, I did some research on my own into cults and thought reform.

The “Official” Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower organization uses mind control tools to control and manipulate members.  These thought reform tools include: love bombing, control of reading material, control of information, control of emotions, dispensing of existence (who will survive Armageddon),[1] confessions and spying used to control, keeping records of members “sins,” using a special set of words, fear and intimidation, exclusivism,[2]  valuing cult doctrine over the damage it does, time control,[3] relationship control,[4]  and even ritual shunning.[5]  Because the organization will not stop using these tools, the organization is in violation of the UN mandate against abusive churches and clergy.

According to a post found on “Jehhovahs-Witness.net” The United Nations Religion Declaration requires that religious organizations must not reduce mental capacity or cause health problems for their followers.[6]  According to “The United Nations 73rd Plenary Meeting, Resolution 36/55 of 25 November 1981” (article 1:3): “Freedom to manifest one’s religion or belief may be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary to protect public safety, order, health or morals or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others.”[7]  The Jehovah’s Witness “Official” organization is in violation of this resolution because they have no respect for the freedom of non-Witnesses.  The organization manipulates the court system to harass and persecute perceived enemies using the doctrine of “Theocratic Warfare.”

“Theocratic Warfare” is a strategy used by loyal Jehovah’s Witness cult members to bend the truth when it is beneficial to the organization.  This gives license to the average Jehovah’s Witness member to be less than fully honest in his dealing with non-Witnesses and the court system.  Examine the following quotes from the Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower itself:

“No harm is practiced, however, by withholding incriminating information from one who is not entitled to know.”  Watchtower Oct 1, 1951 pages 596-598.[8]

“So in time of spiritual warfare it is proper to misdirect the enemy by hiding the truth.  It is done unselfishly; it does not harm anyone; on the contrary, it does much good.” Watchtower May 1, 1957 Page 285 – 286.[9]

“We must tell the truth to one who is entitled to know, but if one is not so entitled we may be evasive. … As a soldier of Christ he is in theocratic warfare and he must exercise added caution when dealing with God’s foes. Thus the Scriptures show that for the purpose of protecting the interests of God’s cause, it is proper to hide the truth from God’s enemies.”  Watchtower June 1, 1960, pages 351-352.[10]

“Evidently the course of Abraham, Isaac, Rahab, and Elisha in misdirecting or in withholding full facts from nonworshipers of Jehovah must be viewed in the same light.”  Insight On The Scriptures, Volume 2, 1988 pages 244-245.[11]

The “Official” Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower organization uses law enforcement to persecute members of the Reformed Jehovah’s Witness movement who seek to instill transparency and justice in the organization.  The organization will call local law enforcement if anyone asks too many religious questions at a Kingdom Hall and then the congregation backs up whatever story the elders tell police using the doctrine of “Theocratic Warfare.”  In a popular YouTube video, Jehovah’s Witness elders threaten to call the police on a man who dares to ask questions about disfellowshipping and the ritual shunning of former members.[12]  Unfortunately, this reaction is far from an isolated event.  Police are regularly called to Jehovah’s Witness cult property when people dare ask questions.  “Theocratic Warfare” allows lying to police, judges, and juries and using the legal system to harass and destroy critics; or, in the case of Reformed Jehovah’s Witnesses, simply good people who want to worship and have questions.

The “Official” Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower is a Pyramid-Ponzi scheme.  The pyramid structure of the organization relies on the recruitment of new members to replace those that are no longer in the fold because they have learned the truth about the cult’s many filed prophecies; or have been so abused by the organization they can no longer continue to recruit new members.  The primary activities of the “Official “ Jehovah’s Witness organization is the control of existing members, recruitment of new members, and the accumulation of wealth by those at the top of the pyramid.  This is why Kingdom Halls typically host small congregations, because small groups are easier to control.  This is also why the “Official” Jehovah’s Witness organization donates no money to charity.  Money is spent on the publishing of cult material and the purchase of real estate instead.

Although the cult claims that the end is just around the corner, its real estate investing strategy is decidedly long term.  The Watchtower is the top landowner in Brooklyn, N.Y.  The real estate owned includes a large portion of DUMBO, the old Bossert Hotel, waterfront property, and portions of Bridge Plaza.[13]  The organization also owns countless Kingdom Halls and the land that surrounds them in many countries.

The “Official” Jehovah’s Witness organization is extremist and restricts the rights of a true religious minority, namely the REFORMED Jehovah’s Witness movement.  Because Reformed Jehovah’s Witnesses can be of any faith; I encourage those concerned bout individual freedom and human rights to attend services at Kingdom Halls.  We must enter into the lives of individual Jehovah’s Witnesses that still idolize the Governing Body instead of God.  God makes it clear that we are to put no idols ahead of him.  Exodus 20:3-5 states:

3Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”[14]

Ironically, the cult’s own website states: “You won’t see religious symbols such as crosses or images in a Kingdom Hall.  Why not?  We follow the Bible’s command: ‘Guard yourselves from idols.’ So we don’t use religious images in our worship—1 John 5:21.”[15] Instead of religious images, Jehovah’s Witnesses have made and idol of the Governing Body itself.  Worshipping the Governing Body instead of God is clearly wrong.  It’s time for reform.

i don’t know about having the police called because of disagreements. that seems to be extreme and untrue. i have never witnessed this. the mind control could be true … that’s everywhere. with tv etc… but its hard to believe people when they seem to be hating instead of stating facts. i don’t know.. but if you can’t speak what is true what makes you different.most people on these sites spew lies and hate. i have found a few people (maybe 3) who are not bitter and seem to speak from goodness and love.i like the reformer movement, they seem fair and unbiased for the most part. i hope what you are stating isn’t true.(about using law enforcement) if so where and when? what’s your source?

I agree..I have attended hall’s for years over 20 consistently..never seen police called.people will tell outright lies or they exaggerate..the mind control I can agree but the government does this as well..I don’t care for the bitter stories and accounts of the wrong doing..all religion are flawed..they all have blood on their hands..I learned wonderful lessons from my experience with organization but the governing body is not JEHOVAH …they make mistakes..I did act like they were Jesus and Jehovah this I am sure…however even though they are not ; I think they should be respected just as our government and officials should as well.I would support a reformed movement if after praying to Jah and earnestly and honestly waiting for confirmation..serving Jehovah is most important..not people..love..love for God and what he accepts and declared as right…be careful and always try to discern the spirit behind some of these articles..
