Drug War Religious Discrimination

(Important note:  After careful research I have realized that the same could be said about other psychedelic substances SO I have modified the original position to say that the correct communion is Psilocybin Mushrooms OR other psychedelic substances.  For example; Mild psychedelic substances such as marijuana bread can be used as a communion. Marijuana bread has been shown to treat heroine and other addictions.  A psychedelic communion is a way to affirm that drug use does indeed exist in the Bible.  A psychedelic communion also emphasizes the gravity of taking communion. Because a communion is not necessary for salvation it is optional. I do not offer it to the public for legal reasons and because we are saved by faith rather than performing works or rituals.)

Psilocybin Mushrooms (nicknamed “Magic Mushrooms”) are a sacrament of many Churches yet the US government arrests Psilocybin Mushroom users.  The US Government proclaims Psilocybin Mushrooms sinful by outlawing their use even by adults over 21.  It is DEA agents and cops that are the sinful ones for persecuting those that dare to exercise their First Amendment right to freedom of religion.  When ones basic right to take a communion (Psilocybin Mushrooms or other “banned” substances) is at stake, US politicians only say “More prisons.”

The belief that Psilocybin Mushrooms are a spiritual communion is widespread and has existed for thousands of years before Christianity.  Ancient paintings dating from 5000 BC have been found glorifying these mushrooms in Algeria.[1]  Psilocybin Mushroom use for religious purposes is a global phenomenon.  In the Americas, ancient temples to mushroom gods and stone statues of mushrooms have been found.  [2] The Hindu holy book known as the Rig Vedas venerates the Psilocybin Mushroom and calls it “Soma.”[3] This would explain why cows are sacred in India; because Psilocybin Mushrooms grow on cow dung.  In ancient Ireland, psychedelic mushrooms were used in religious ceremonies.[4]  Psychedelic mushrooms have been used across the millenniums in every corner of the world.

Ancient, pre-church Christianity also glorifies Psilocybin (Magic) Mushrooms; yet, because the US government claims to be the ultimate religious authority, persecution continues.  One only needs to open the Bible to see the proof.  After the Israelites were led out of Egypt, they were given Manna (communion) from God.  Exodus 16 speaks of  how these small white gifts from God mysteriously appeared out of nowhere.  The “Manna” grew in the dung from the caravan of cattle and this gift from God would go bad if not dried.  These are the features of Psilocybin Mushrooms.[5]  In Daniel 5 we read that the King of Babylon drank from a cup that was liquefied “Manna.”  This communion gave him visions within the hour.  This is the correct time frame for Magic Mushrooms to start working.[6]  In the New Testament, we read how the body of Christ is given at the last supper.  Only mushrooms have the consistency of flesh and only a Psilocybin Mushroom tea can be used to make an intoxicating “wine” out of water.  It is clear that the body and blood of Christ is Psilocybin Mushrooms.[7] (Or other psychedelic substances.)

The mainstream Christian churches are working behind the scenes to keep Psilocybin Mushrooms (and other psychedelic substances) illegal because they want to maintain their power and they hate real freedom of religion.  The Catholic Church persecuted users of Magic Mushrooms when they arrived in the Americas in the 1500s.  Mainstream Christians supported Nixon’s “War on Drugs” that was launched in 1971 because the churches wanted to repress indigenous, traditional shamanic faiths.  Witches were burned at the stake during the Inquisition for using plants like Magic Mushrooms just as “punk” young women are persecuted today by arrogant sheriffs in small town America for possession of these mushrooms.

From the witch trials of the 1600s to the fraudulent “War on Drugs” today, the elite that run America hate true spirituality and will do all in their power to destroy those that take the communion (Psilocybin Mushrooms).  Republicans (and Democrats) claim to stand for freedom of religion but they keep building prisons to house those with different religious beliefs.

Magic mushrooms (and other psychedelic substances) have been shown to cure depression and OCD, yet scientific study is not allowed because the elites need the Drug War to control the people.  Are the elites in the mainstream churches and the ultra-rich really morally superior to those that only want to practice their religion in peace?  Many religious faiths glorify the Psilocybin Mushroom; yet because the US government claims to be the ultimate religious authority, persecution continues.

The persecution against both Christians and pagans that use Psilocybin Mushrooms for religious purposes must end.  Shame on America for putting people in prison for having the “wrong” religion.  See:  http://churchofthesacredmushroom.com/ (Or other sources that also use psychedelic substances as a communion.)
